REACH COMPLIANCE

Multichem is pleased to announce that we are fully compliant with REACh and that all our raw materials have been pre-registered where appropriate. We have not pre-registered any materials where the aggregate usage here in Multichem is less than 200 Kgs per annum on the basis that this is a reasonable indication that Multichem will never in the foreseeable future exceed the initial REACh threshold of 1000 Kgs per annum usage. Additionally we are please to report that our Cap Off Additives CA 340.2 and CA 210.2 and their ingredients are exempt from registration under REACh ( Annexe IV).

Multichem is officially a Downstream User of raw materials and under normal circumstances we would have no registration responsibilities under the REACh purview. However as we export a significant amount of our production and a large quantity of that returns to the EU as finished products, we found that we had responsibilities to those customers outside of the normal remit and therefore undertook to pre-register our raw materials. 

We do not intend to publish these numbers in the immediate future as we have no obligation to do so and much of the data is proprietary (confidential). However in the event that any of our customers require assistance in ensuring that their finished products enter the EU we will gladly furnish a limited set of this data to facilitate matters.
